Packed week! Monday after pday we taught a ton knowing we would be occupied the rest of the week. Tuesday night we left for Itauna! My first area! We stayed there until friday morning. It was so fun to revisit there! Luis went out with us both days that I was there and taught the Joseph Smith story like a champ! He is super ready for a mission. I got to see old members and converts and see the growth! Its been almost exactly a year since I arrived there, ironically enough with Sister Amado and since then the branch is on it way to becoming a ward and having a chapel!
I went first with Sister Albequerque who was in the Brasil MTC with me, and then Sister Funes from Niceragoa. (I didnt know where this was before she told me central america, nor can I spell it!) She is super awesome as well.
Then Saturday we taught a ton to make up for the days we spent in Itauna and we found tons of awesome new investigators. A seamstress, college students, a quirky elderly.
Lindoval and Irene marked their wedding date in November and we marked their baptism date! Everybody is super excited for them.
Carol our awesome recent convert is loving church and started going out with us! We are hoping she goes on a mission!
Tonight we have family home evening in President Fortunato's house with Maria and her children. She is coming to church, wants to be baptized but something is holding her back. I am super excited to see what President does!
This week wiped me out, we are super tired, so more exciting things next week!
Happy conference!
